On 7 May
2004, when I was diagnosed as type 2 diabetic, I was told I need to get my A1C down. I have spend the subsequent years trying to do
exactly that.
Last week,
my A1C tested at 5.8. My personal MD frowned and said this was too low.
My VA Doc told
me my A1C was too low (6.0) and needed to be higher. She adjusted my meds in
hopes of raising my A1C.
I find this
rather ironic. No one ever told me my A1C could be too low…
