My brother Jim told me that he's on 500mg of Metformin in the mornings and he didn't seem to surprised when my wife said she was on 500mb in the evening. He did seem a bit taken back when I said I was taking a thousand mg both morning and night.

My nephew Chrisopher James asked if I was taking injectables (he is a hospital administrator and probably knows about diabetes treatements) and I said "hell no!" I don't plan on starting self-stabbing anytime soon. (We can leave the line "I hurt myself today/to see if I still feel/The needle... to John Cash's song "Hurt".)

God willing, I won't be self injecting insulin etc. for a very long time if ever.
