December 2021

November 2021

My first family MD told me to test my blood sugar twice a day on two different days. I took his advise of testing first thing in the morning on Tuesday and Thursday and just before eating my evening meal.

My VA Doc changed the second "testing time" to two hours after I finished eating dinner.

My three family MDs since 2004 and various VA Docs have agreed with this testing plan. Kathie is  type 2 as well and we both are testing on Monday and Thursday.

* This is what happens when you go to a great restaurant and east a rich and delicious dinner (with chocolate cake and vinillia ice creamme). AM 117  4 pm 127  PM 179

"vomito ergo sum"   I ate something that disagreed with me and ended up vomiting around 2:03 am.

**  I wonder if I should have a bottle of insulin and the needle for days when the bg is way to high,

S I suppose this score would have been much lower if I had taken my fucking pills. However, I was busy cooking and simply never thought of those pills. SHIT!

letter to VA regarding insulin availability

I  am a type 2 diabetic but not on insulin.

Does the VA have insulin and syringes available?

R/

  Michael Bell

letter to FDA regarding insulin price

My Father and youngest Brother were type 1 diabetics. I do not recall them complaining about the prices.

I am curious how the prices of the various insulin formulations and syringes have changed from 1980 to now.

Do you have tables or charts providing this information?

Sincerely,

Michel W. Bell

I wrote the FDA with little hope of actually getting  reply. Regardless, I plan on checking my incoming email daily for any replies for the remainder of November. I am going to write the VA and ADA (American Diabetic Association) as well.

* I forgot to take my evening pills until after checking my evening blood sugar. It will be interesting to see how " low it can go" by AM testing time.
