I have gotten good service from the Wichita VA Hospital and the Dodge City clinic. However, having said that, my Father in Law, two brothers of mine, my wife and I are all veterans. I'd like to know the VA medical system is available if needed.
For what it's worth, I had a heart cath in 2010 after a problem emerged during a treadmill test. When the VA docs gave me a choice of Wesley Hospital or the Robert Dole VA hospital, I insisted on the procedure being done by the VA heart doctor. I was far more certain I would survive this operation in the VA Hospital than at the Wesley Hospital.
Let's improve the VA medical system so folks like me can keep the faith!
